ILOILO City – Four persons were nabbed for illegal gambling in Barangay South Fundidor, Molo district.
Residents Rowena Serojano, 43; Catherine Alayon, 28; Marivic Serojano, 29; and Candelaria Bañas, 59, were caught playing mahjong around 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 11, police said.
Recovered from their possession were a set of mahjong tiles, three pieces of dice and P435 bet money.
The suspects were brought to the Molo police station, facing charges./PN
