BACOLOD City – Police arrested five persons in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
They were residents Rowena Dual, Alex Santillan, Ruel Tabares, Errol Siaboc, and Antonio Sabijon, a police report showed.
Six sachets of suspected shabu and P1,214 cash were recovered from their possession, the report added.
The suspects were nabbed after they allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P200 on Saturday.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
