ILOILO City – A week-long manhunt operation led by the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) resulted in the arrest of 81 individuals with outstanding warrants across the region from October 15 to 21, 2024.
Among the arrested, 17 were classified as most wanted persons (MWPs), while 64 were categorized as other wanted persons (OWPs).
Here is the breakdowns of the MWP arrests per unit:
* Antique Police Provincial Office – five arrests
* Iloilo Police Provincial Office – six arrests
* Capiz Police Provincial Office – two arrests
* Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office – two arrests
* Bacolod and Iloilo City police offices – one arrest each
For the OWPs, the following units contributed the following:
* Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office: 24 arrests
* Iloilo Police Provincial Office – seven arrests
* Aklan Police Provincial Office – nine arrests
* Antique Police Provincial Office – four arrests
* Capiz Police Provincial Office – six arrests
* Iloilo City Police Office – even arrests
* Bacolod City Police Office – six arrests
* Guimaras Police Provincial Office – one arrest
