ILOILO City – Nine sachets of shabu were seized from a drug pushing suspect in Barangay Poblacion, New Lucena, Iloilo.
Edwin Chavez, 44, was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 11:30 p.m. on June 15. It was a joint operation of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and New Lucena police station.
A mobile phone, a disposable lighter and P610 cash were recovered from the suspect, too.
Chavez was detained at the municipal police station. He faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
