ILOILO – A house was totally damaged in a fire in Barangay 9 Poblacion, Tigbauan, Iloilo around 8 a.m. yesterday, August 20.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Tigbauan, the house made of concrete materials was owned by the Tantiado couple.
Arson investigators said the blaze left an estimated P840,000 in damage.
Fire Officer 3 Melvin Porras, in a local radio interview, said initial findings suggest the cause of the fire may be electrical in nature.
He added that a thorough investigation was ongoing as of this writing to determine the exact cause./PN
