BACOLOD City – An illegal drug buy-bust operation on South Capitol Road in Barangay 9 led to the arrest of a 30-year-old seafarer.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 18 agents caught Ralph Biñal Monte, a native of La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
Confiscated from him were three plastic packs of suspected shabu on top of the one he sold to undercover agents for P500.
Monte was detained in the local PDEA office after his arrest around 9 p.m. on Thursday.
He is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
