BACOLOD City — A motorcycle was totally destroyed by fire at the corner of Saint Francis Street, Doña Juliana Subdivision, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City on Monday afternoon, August 24.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Bacolod City received the emergency alarm around 1:35 p.m. and fully extinguished the blaze by 2:15 p.m.
According to the motorcycle driver, alias “Earl,” the engine suddenly stalled while he was on his way to work. Moments later, flames burst from the vehicle, destroying the motorcycle along with his mobile phone. The fire also scorched the gate of a nearby residence.
BFP-Bacolod City estimated the property damage at approximately P15,000.
