ILOILO City – A newly identified drug pushing suspect from the municipality of Oton, Iloilo was arrested in Barangay Ungka 2, Pavia town.

Michael Toralde was a 32-year-old resident of Zulueta Street, Oton. He was detained at the Pavia police station on Monday.

Around 2:30 p.m. Toralde sold a sachet of shabu for P500 to an undercover police officer.

Five more sachets were recovered from the suspect.

According to Chief Inspector Jonathan Pinuela, Pavia police chief, Toralde was placed under surveillance for a month prior to Monday’s buy-bust operation.

Toralde faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
