BACOLOD City – The Bago City police is still conducting an investigation to identify and arrest the suspect in a hacking incident on Thursday in Barangay Mailum.
Based on police record, the suspect was a certain Biyo, a resident of the barangay.
Investigation showed the 27-year-old Gerald delos Reyes was allegedly hacked by the suspect after the victim pacified a commotion during a basketball game.
The commotion involved the suspect and his younger brother, investigation added.
Delos Reyes sustained wounds on his left hand, stomach and face.
He is currently confined at Bago City District Hospital./PN
