ILOILO City – Another vehicular crash transpired in Iloilo province, this time in Barangay Sapao, Dumangas town.
Motorcycle riders Romeo Tolentino of Barangay Dungsol, Pototan and Freddie Nicar of Barangay Jalaud Norte, Zarraga died.
Sustaining multiple injuries on the body, the victims were pronounced dead at the Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital in Dumangas.
Their motorcycle collided head-on against a van driven by John Mar Gale, 25, of Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental around 9:50 p.m. on July 21, a police report showed.
Tolentino, the motorcycle driver, was reportedly speeding, police said.
Gale was detained at the Dumangas police station. He was facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide./PN
