BACOLOD City – A barangay councilman of Barangay Igmaya-an, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental was shot dead by an unidentified suspect.
Resident Armando Indino was in his house when the culprit shot him on the back around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, the police report showed.
Indino was rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Police have yet to identify the suspect and determine the motive./PN
