BACOLOD City – After knowing he had been raping her daughter, a mother killed her live-in partner in Barangay Linaon, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, police said.
Resident Genie Escarda, 32, surrendered to the Sipalay City Police Station around 9 a.m. on Monday.
Escarda repeatedly stabbed 29-year-old Lorence Maribohok on July 21 when he was asleep, a police report showed.
She caught Maribohok raping her 11-year-old daughter on July 13.
Her daughter confessed that Maribohok had been raping her for a year, a police report showed.
Police are investigating the incident./PN
