ILOILO City – Neighbors in Barangay Kasing-Kasing, Molo district had a confrontation over a dog, a police report showed.

The incident led Rose Anne Pregil to report George Tocamo to the police station for alleged violation of the Animal Welfare Act and unjust vexation.

Pregil said she heard her dog was barking as if it was being attacked around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. She checked and saw Tocamo hurriedly leaving.

Around 9 a.m. of the same day, Pregil chanced upon Tocamo and confronted him.

“Kay gagwa iya ulo mo! Sang una gani ginkagat ya man ko na. Sige, kasuhi lang ko a,” Pregil quoted Tocamo as saying, the police report showed./PN
