BACOLOD City – Two men suspected of holding up a motorcycle company collector were arrested at a checkpoint in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Joebert Teguihanon, 35, of Barangay Tinampaan and Rommel Dema-ala of Barangay Cabahug – both in Cadiz City – were detained at the Silay City police station.
Teguihanon yielded a .357 firearm, too, a police report showed.
Both were accused of holding up Danilo Vicente and taking P17,000 cash from him in Barangay Villamonte, this city around 3 p.m. on July 26, said Senior Inspector Elmer Bonilla of Police Station 4.
The suspects escaped on board a motorcycle but were caught at a Silay checkpoint./PN
