ROXAS City – Provincial Director Ermelinda Pollentes of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted a lecture with the owners of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the province.
Pollentes discussed the seven key elements to enhance the productivity of MSMEs to survive in the “global market.”
Pollentes was referring to the single market system created by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The market will enable easier movement of goods, services, investment, capital, and people across the Southeast Asian region, Pollentes said.
“The competition becomes borderless. So are the opportunities for those who are ready to take on the challenge of making Capiz known in the global arena,” she added.
The seven key elements were mindset, mastery, mentoring, markets, money, machines, and models, or the 7Ms.
Pollentes said there is great potential among Capizeño entrepreneurs. “They will soon reap the harvest of their sacrifices and determination,” she added.
