ILOILO City – Four people including a barangay tanod (village watchman) in Barangay Lanit, Jaro district were accused of illegal gambling.
The following residents were caught playing mahjong along the road:
* tanod Felixberto Legayada, 57
* Consuelo Gomana, 62
* Anne Donesio, 33
* Anabelle Homero, 58
A mahjong set and P212 cash were recovered from them, a police report showed.
They were detained at the Jaro police station after their arrest around 5 p.m. on July 30./PN
