BACOLOD City – Residents found a dead man in a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Jantianon, Amlan, Negros Oriental.
The 32-year-old Cerelo Elardo’s body was discovered around 7 p.m. on Aug. 13, apolice report showed.
Police responded to the area after receiving a report around 10 p.m.
Elardo had forehead injuries, police said.
Police have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the killing./PN
