BACOLOD City – Police have yet to determine the identity of a dead man found in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Village watchman Ramel Israel, 46, discovered the body lying in a sugarcane plantation around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 22, a police report showed.
Israel reported to the police.
Talisay City police chief Superintendent Adonis Rosales and deputy police chief Senior Inspector Geruld Huerva with other policemen responded to the area.
The dead boy had gunshot wounds on the chest, the legs and the lower neck, police said.
Recovered from the victim were P470 and a condom.
An autopsy will be conducted on the body./PN
