ILOILO City – After a confrontation, a colleague struck a construction worker with a steel pipe in Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district, a police report showed.

The complainant, 47-year-old Alejandro Orrica, was advised to get himself checked by a physician. He complained of pains on the body.

Orrica told the Mandurriao police that the incident happened around 9 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Iloilo Business Park.

Orrica identified his attacker as fellow worker Rogelio Estador. He said the latter hit him on the arm and back.

It was not immediately clear what their confrontation was about./PN
