ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Siniba-an, Dingle, Iloilo was stabbed at the Jaro Big Market in Barangay Desamparados.
The 24-year-old Vicente Narciso Jr. sustained stab wounds on the chest.
He was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao, a police report showed.
The suspect – 45-year-old Reggie Prevendido of Barangay Desamparados, Jaro – was arrested and detained at the Jaro police station.
Police said they were still trying to determine the motive in the stabbing around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Narciso was with a friend at the time, they said./PN
