ILOILO City – Police arrested a drug pushing suspect in Barangay San Jose, Arevalo district.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu were seized from Jameson Chua, a 36-year-old resident of Block 16, Lot 4, Ledesco Village in La Paz.
Chua yielded six plastic sachets on top of the one sold to a police poseur buyer for P600, a police report showed.
Officers further seized a mobile phone from the suspect.
Detained at the Arevalo police station, Chua was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Operatives from the Arevalo police station, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the buy-bust operation around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 13./PN
