ILOILO City – A convenience store on Q. Abeto Street, Mandurriao district had been robbed.
The culprits were seven women pretending to be customers, iMart supervisor Jonalyn Anglacer told the police after reviewing footage from their security camera.
Police launched a hot pursuit against the suspects.
One of the suspects distracted the cashier while her accomplices roamed the store, took assorted grocery items and placed them in a sling bag, a police report stated.
The stolen items had an estimated total cost of P2,500.
