ILOILO — Operatives of the Pavia Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) Station Drug Enforcement Team arrested a high-value target and seized around P510,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ungka 1, Pavia town.
The operation took place at 7:19 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, and led to the apprehension of alias “Arman,” 30, a delivery truck driver. He is a resident of Bais City, Negros Oriental but temporarily staying in Pavia.
Police recovered seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, and other non-drug-related items.
The suspect was detained at the Pavia MPS. He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
