BACOLOD City – The New People’s Army (NPA) released the names of those they claim to be responsible for summary killings in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

NPA Leonardo Panagilan Command spokesperson JB Regalado claimed in a statement that members of the Philippine Army 3rd Infantry Division and the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office were behind the murders of 10 civilians, who were members of local progressive groups.

Intelligence assets and two members of the Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade were among the perpetrators, the NPA claimed.

Regalado said some public officials and civilians have participated in plotting the murders, too.

Panay News is withholding the names pending verification with authorities.

The NPA were summoning the accused individuals  to appear before the People’s Revolutionary Court./PN
