BACOLOD City – Police failed to arrest a suspected drug pusher in Sitio Luno, Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

Superintendent Arturo Fullero, San Carlos City police chief, identified the suspect as Claudio Pataytay, a resident of the place.

Pataytay fled the village before the San Carlos City police can conduct an entrapment operation around 6:20 p.m. on Sept. 23, a police report showed.

Recovered from Pataytay’s house were two sachets of shabu valued at P8,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Police also confiscated a .45-caliber firearm, seven bullets, and a black holster from the place.
