ILOILO City – A 20-year-old man from Arevalo district sustained a head injury after a group of men attacked him, a police report showed.
Carlo Benedict Flores complained to the police that Joebert Otana and several companions ganged up on him while he was walking with girlfriend Glicer Mae Dajay in Barangay Infante, Molo around 2 a.m. on Sept. 24.
Flores said he was also hit with a hard object on the head.
The complainant was able to arrest Otana, a 21-year-old resident of Barangay San Juan, Molo, and turn him over to the police.
Otana was detained at the Molo police station custodial facility.
The motive and the whereabouts of Otana’s companions remain unclear as this writing./PN
