ILOILO City – An antidrug operation in Barangay Aldeguer, Sara, Iloilo led to the arrest of a man and his live-in partner.
Residents Dodjie Aspeler, 32, and Mary Mae Pacrim, 39, were detained at the Sara police station lockup cell.
At around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, they sold to an undercover officer a sachet of shabu for P500.
Another plastic pack of the same substance was seized from Aspeler, police said.
The couple denied owning the seized drugs and their alleged involvement in the drug trade. They accused the police of “planting” evidence./PN
