ILOILO City – In Providence subdivision in Pavia, Iloilo, a “high-value” illegal drug suspect from Capiz province was arrested.
Roxas City native Niel Bryan Tumlos, 30, fell into a dragnet the police set up at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday in Block 76, Lot 30 of the subdivision in Barangay Balabag.
Police identified Tumlos as an “HVT (high-value target) Level 3” in the antidrug campaign.
Tumlos sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover operative for P1,200, said Senior Inspector Jigger Gimeno of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) of the Police Regional Office 6, one of the operating units.
Thirty-three more sachets of the same substance were seized from him.
Tumlos also yielded a .45-caliber pistol, drug paraphernalia and several electronic gadgets, police said.
Police officers in Pavia worked with the RID in arresting Tumlos, who they detained at their station’s custodial facility./PN
