IT COMES in many forms; brewed, instant, black, brown, creamy. It’s an integral part of many cultures, especially ours.
I’m talking about the morning miracle drink, coffee. Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans and it is part of the morning (and sometimes afternoon) routine of many people. I for one cannot imagine starting the day without coffee. However, did you know that asides from being delicious, coffee is also very good for us?
- Coffee can improve energy levels and make you smarter.
Since coffee contains caffeine it gives you a boost of energy and makes your more alert.
- Coffee can help you burn fat.
Asides from giving you a boost of energy, caffeine can boost your metabolic rate by three to 11 percent.
- There are essential nutrients in coffee.
A single cup of coffee containsRiboflavin (Vitamin B2), Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), Manganese and Potassium, and Magnesium and Niacin (B3.
- Coffee can help lower the risk of Type II Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and even reduce the risk of cancer. It also is a great source of antioxidants.
This also due to the miraculous caffeine and the fact that it triggers the body to release certain hormones that can aid in fighting these diseases.
- Coffee can fight depression and make you feel happier.
Who doesn’t feel that little spark of optimism after a great cup of coffee? It’s nice that it’s actually a natural effect of coffee and not just association after getting used to it.
So in short, treasure that little cup of miracle juice that you have in the morning. There’s a reason why coffee is considered a “morning hug”. It helps you get the day going and always knows how to cheer you up. (Source: https://www.healthline.com) (angelica.panaynews@gmail.com/PN)
