ILOILO City – All because of a P200 debt.
A resident of Barangay San Isidro, La Paz district trying to collect debt from a neighbor was attacked, a police report showed.
Arnold Loro, 28, sustained swelling on his head and mouth. Police advised him to get himself checked at the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
Loro was asking Benny Mainar to pay his P200 debt at around 5:35 p.m. on Sept. 23 when the latter got irked and repeatedly punched the former, police said.
Loro himself arrested Mainar and turned him over to police officers on patrol.
Mainar was detained at the La Paz police station./PN
