BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is not holding back on its operations against theft and robbery incidents in the city.
BCPO director Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky said their manhunt against robbery group members will not “slow down” even after the arrest five suspects involved in armed robberies.
The suspects were nabbed in two separate operations that the police stations 2 and 7 designed.
According to Wanky, the BCPO was close to catching some of the robbery group members last Thursday.
Wanky said they have been monitoring the suspects for almost a month.
“They were just lucky they evaded arrest,” he said. “But their luck will run out.”
The BCPO is hunting down Arnold “Aki” Cuadra and Alex “Rondoy” Barredo, the leaders of two notorious robbery groups in the city.
On Sept. 29, the Police Station – led by Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias – chanced upon Barredo abut the latter escaped./PN
