BEFORE you have any erotic visions of a “girl on girl” private show, it’s not and it’s not the title of an X-rated skin flick either.

It’s about two powerful women, and powerful women in any book are always sexy.  Perhaps it would imply that the two are being compared, well sort of anyway. They’re not really “apples and oranges” as the two have a lot in common so let’s just talk about that and their individual attributes and expertise.

For starters we can safely safe that they’re both women and supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte – “Duterte’s Angels” so to speak and both hold influential positions in his administration.

Mocha is, according to that free online encyclopedia:

Esther Margaux “Mocha” Justiniano Uson, often known simply as Mocha, is a Filipino singer, dancer, model, and blogger. Uson served as a board member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) from Jan. 27, 2017 until her appointment as assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) in May.

Uson was born on May 17, 1982 in DagupanPangasinan. Her father, Oscar Uson, was a regional trial court judge who was assassinated in September 2002 in Asingan, Pangasinan. Her mother, Estrelita Uson, was a pediatrician in Dagupan and a breast cancer survivor.

She attended the Mother Goose Special School System for her elementary and high school education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in medical technology from the University of Santo Tomas. She studied medicine at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery but dropped out during her second year to pursue her musical career full-time.

Meanwhile, Jane is: Jane Javellana – an Ilongga businesswoman that has been appointed as Presidential Adviser for Western Visayas, or is it consultant to the Presidential Adviser for Visayas or Western Visayas?

She is a single mom slash entrepreneur; she is one of the lead organizers of Duterte’s presidential campaign in La Paz, Iloilo City in 2016.

Prior to her involvement in politics and government she is managing director of Artjuana Party, Events and Production, Inc.

Among her expertise are: balloon artist, wedding planning, live events and parties to name a few.

Her education list reads something like this:

She finished high school at the Central Philippine University. For college, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of San Agustin and a Masters in Business Management from the University of the Philippines.

It is a fact that both are educated women and went beyond just the usual college degree and both are alumnus of prestigious institutions of higher learning.

And does the similarity end there? Let’s take a peep and check it out.

It is a fact that Mocha is beautiful and sexy, testament to that is her being a cover and feature of that ultimate men’s magazine FHM. Yup, moi has a copy, hehehe.

That Mocha can sing and dance is some of her attributes; her being the star and founder of that all female sexy revue “Mocha Girls.”

Perhaps her greatest attribute is that as a blogger she has five million followers, more than all three major television networks combined and all five million are engaged followers. This makes her an asset to President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign and eventually his government.

She is an effective communicator which makes her perfect as Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Office, her field being disseminating and defending President Rodrigo Duterte’s policies and government in social media.

Moi has no idea if Jane Javellana can sing or dance or both due to the fact that moi has never seen her do either one or both.

Moi has no personal knowledge also if Jane Javellana graced the pages or cover of FHM magazine.

It is a fact, according to her LinkedIn profile, that she is a “balloon artist” whatever that means; someone good in blowing balloons probably.

What really is a Presidential Adviser/Assistant for Western Visayas?

It is a position created under Executive Order No.7 series of 1988 by then President Joseph Estrada.

And that EO says: “Providing for the creation of a Presidential Assistant for regional concerns system and defining the functions, powers and responsibilities of the Presidential Assistants.”

One of the functions of a Presidential Assistant is: “Provide assistance in the preparation and conduct of Presidential visits in the area.”

Being events and wedding planner, not to mention balloon artist, makes Jane Javellana perfect for the job.

Which brings us to this question: Is the position “Presidential Assistant for regional concerns” a political accommodation?

President “Erap” who created that position during his watch is a very accommodating fellow so much so that it cost him his presidency, remember Atong Ang? (brotherlouie16@gmail.com/PN)
