Kalibo, AKLAN – The Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) tapped the Aklan Bankers Association (ABA) to safeguard the province in the coming long holidays.

Senior Police Inspector 1 Nida Gregas, APPO information officer, said a meeting between the provincial police and representatives from ABA – led by Metrobank manager Agnes Francisco – was held in this capital town.

APPO chief Senior Superintendent Lope Manlapaz talked about crime prevention measures among ABA representatives, according to Gregas.

Gregas added that the APPO also sought the help of ABA’s peace and order group in maintaining security in the province this November for the All Saints’ and All Souls’ days, December for the Christmas season and January for the Ati-Atihan Festival./PN
