ILOILO City – Several grocery items were seized from a native of Sara, Iloilo accused of shoplifting, a police report showed.
The 20-year-old Ganimed Muyco of Barangay Ardemil, Sara was arrested and detained at the Jaro police station.
Muyco, who was temporarily residing in Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz, allegedly took the following from Savemore Jaro 1 Supermarket in Barangay El 98 Castilla, Jaro without paying for them:

Supermarket guard Joselito Apolistar, 47, caught Muyco taking various items from a display stand and placing them in a basket at around 5 p.m. on Sunday, the police report showed.
But Muyco went to the dry goods section and transferred the items to a black sling bag before exiting the establishment without paying at the cashier, police said.
Apolistar arrested Muyco and seized the black sling bag before turning the suspect over to the Jaro police station./PN
