ILOILO City – Thirty-one lucky “graduates” of the Police Regional Office 6’s (PRO-6) drug rehabilitation program would be undergoing free vocational education training.
According to Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, spokesperson of the PRO-6, this scheme is a tie-up with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region 6.
Fifty drug surrenderers of the PRO-6 already completed vocational training, said Gorero.
Araceli Eraldo of TESDA, meanwhile, told Panay News the vocational courses the agency was making available to the drug surrenderers were the following:
- driving
-
automotive
-
massage therapy
-
computer system services National Certification level II (NC-II)
-
dressmaking
-
tailoring
-
housekeeping
-
bartending
The training will be at least for a month.
