BACOLOD City – Police have yet to determine what caused the death of a German found in his rented house in Villa Celia Subdivision, Barangay Taculing.
Officers from the Police Station 6 discovered the decomposing body of the 58-year-old Thomas Schulenburg on Oct. 27 after they forcibly opened the house, a police report showed.
The owner – who requested anonymity – reported to the police after Schulenburg had not been answering any of his calls.
The owner said he last saw Schulenburg on Oct. 4 around 11 a.m.
Schulenburg had been renting the house since January, police said.
Police ruled out robbery as the motive in the incident after finding out that Schulenburg’s belongings and money were not stolen nor was there a forcible entry prior to their operation.
Scene of the crime operatives of Negros Occidental Provincial Crime Laboratory Office were still investigating the incident.
Police have already informed Schulenburg’s family./PN
