ILOILO City – Police caught in Barangay Centro Sur, Pandan, Antique a 37-year-old man charged with sexually abusing a minor.
Jolito Dimiren was a resident of Barangay Buri, Lambunao, Iloilo.
He fled to Antique when he learned that he was charged with sexual abuse in relation to Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, police said.
Officers served him an arrest warrant at 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday and detained him in the Lambunao police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
