BACOLOD City – The Task Force Kasanag (TFK) will assist the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Highway Patrol Group in maintaining road safety in Visayas.
On Nov. 20, Atty. Jose Malvar Villegas Jr., national president of the Citizens Crime Watch Association, Inc. (CCWAI) signed a memorandum of agreement with the PNP-Highway Patrol Group in Quezon City.
The agreement entails the CCWAI to help PNP-Highway Patrol Group in traffic management and road safety operations across the country.
On Dec. 17, 2015, TFK also signed to support CCWAI, TFK national commander John Chiong said.
TFK and CCWAI both committed to “uplift the condition of the Filipino people by providing charitable services, helping alleviate poverty, protecting the lives of Filipino people as well as the environment, and promoting wellness.”
CCWAI will utilize its force multipliers in different parts of the country to fulfill its agreement with the PNP-Highway Patrol Group.
CCWAI assigned TFK to handle its operations in Visayas.
Chiong said TFK is willing to accept volunteers./PN
