ROXAS City – There will be a free seafood buffet for guests and revelers of the Sinadya sa Pyesta Dela Immaculada Concepcion celebration in this city on Dec. 5.
“We want to promote fellowship and showcase our hospitality,” said City Tourism Officer Dr. Bryan Mari Argos during a news conference where he revealed the slated activities of the celebration.
The highlights will be on Dec. 8, he added.
The lunch buffet, which the city government prepared, will be like a “barrio fiesta,” according to Argos.
He said it will include the “bounties of the sea” like crabs, prawns, shrimps, and shellfishes, among others.
There will also be an oyster-eat-all-you-can contest, or the “Talabahan All-You-Can.”
Argos said a sundown food festival will be held from Dec. 5 to 9 at the city plaza. (PIA/PN)
