BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man for theft in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
He was the 22-year-old resident Jolly Torres, a police report showed.
On Dec. 2, Helbert Montejo of Bago City, Negros Occidental and Johnrel Belarmino of Silay City, Negros Occidental filed a complaint against Torres at the Police Station 8.
Montejo and Belarmino – both construction workers – said they lost their cellular phones to Torres while they were sleeping at their barracks.
Officers from Police Station 8 arrested Torres.
Recovered from Torres were two cellular phones worth P6,000 and P7,000.
Torres was detained at the Police Station 8 custodial facility./PN
