ILOILO City – In Barangay Cubay, San Dionisio, Iloilo, a bus hit a 67-year-old resident.
Gerardo Benedicto died, a police report showed.
Benedicto was walking along the national highway when the Ceres bus driven by Ronnie Valenzuela hit him at around 10 a.m. on Thursday.
He was taken to the Sara District Hospital where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Valenzuela was detained at the custodial facility of the San Dionisio police station./PN
