ILOILO City – A bruised right eye. A wounded left eyebrow. Scratches on the face. A painful body.
All these were what a resident of Barangay Crespo, Sara, Iloilo sustained after two men mauled him in Barangay Baybay Tanza, this city.
Why was he attacked? The 33-year-old Jeppey Borlado had no idea.
Borlado has just alighted from a passenger jeepney at around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 when the attackers charged at him, a police report showed.
Police Station 1 was still trying to identify the suspects as of this writing.
Iloilo City Emergency Response team personnel treated his wounds first before taking him to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro district./PN
