19-year-old lad admits to selling illegal drugs
ILOILO City – A 19-year-old suspected illegal drug dealer was arrested in Barangay Rizal Estanzuela, City Proper.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified JM Rap Zerrudo as a suspected member of the Odicta drug group.
The resident of Barangay Tanza-Esperanza, City Proper is thus a “high-value” target, the agency said.
Zerrudo yielded an estimated 5 grams of suspected shabu valued at P25,000.
PDEA Region 6 agents swooped down on the suspect at around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 9.
Zerrudo admitted to engaging in the illegal drug trade.
“Gabaligya gid man ko,” he said. “[Tag] isa ka libo ang isa ka sachet, P300 man lang na akon [ginansya],” Zerrudo said.
“May ginakuha-an ako pero wala ako kabalo sang ngalan niya. Indi ko sia kilala,” he added.
The suspect further yielded a mobile phone, buy-bust money worth P1,000 and a pouch.
Zerrudo was detained at the PDEA Region 6 custodial facility. He faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
