BACOLOD City – A sport utility vehicle landed on a marshy area in Barangay Mandalagan yesterday.

The Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo driver, 25-year-old resident Kevin Bennett Estero, was unhurt.

Estero was negotiating Buri Road at 3 a.m. when he suddenly saw a cart being pulled by a carabao before him, said Police Officer 3 Eliseo Adraneda Jr., traffic investigator of Police Station 3.

Estero tried to avoid the cart so he swerved to his left but ended up overshooting the gutter and landing on a marshy lot, Adraneda said./PN
