ILOILO City – Three sachets of suspected shabu were seized from a resident of Barangay Sooc, Arevalo district.
The 42-year-old Donie Machado was arrested in a buy-bust operation in the village, a police report showed.
Machado was detained at the Arevalo police station custodial facility.
He faces charges for violation of sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Officers from the Special Drug Enforcement Team of the Iloilo City Police Office and the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit staged the operation at 7:30 a.m. on March 6.
Aside from the suspected shabu, the suspect yielded the P800 buy-bust money, the police report stated./PN
