BACOLOD City – Three persons charged with carnapping were arrested at a parking lot of a mall in Barangay Calindangan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
They were the 41-year-old Raquel Etcuben of Cebu City, 48-year-old Aniceas Silorio of San Jose, Negros Oriental and 52-year-old Jesus Delos Reyes of Amlan, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Joint elements of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, Dumaguete City Police Office and Mandaue City Police Office arrested the suspects around 8 p.m. on Friday at the parking lot of Robinsons Mall.
Recovered from the suspects was a white Ford Ranger car with plate number RNR 460.
The arrest of the suspects led them to surrender five more cars: a yellow Kia Picanto, a magenta Kia Picanto, a black Hyundai Eon, a white Mitsubishi Montero, and a white Chevrolet Spin.
The suspects were detained at the lockup facility of the Dumaguete City Police Office./PN
