ILOILO City – A man conducting a road clearing operation died after he got electrocuted in Purok Malipayon, New Poblacion, Buenavista, Guimaras.
He was identified as 31-year-old resident Arly Maro, a municipal employee of Buenavista, a police report showed.
According to the police, Maro was trimming tree branches when he accidently touched a live wire around 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
The victim was rushed to the Buenavista Emergency Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”/PN
