BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in Barangay Camingawan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The unidentified victim sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police said the man was wearing a brown shirt and has a tattoo on the back – estimated to be around 30 years of age and about 5 feet 2 inches in height.
The 38-year-old resident Danilo Pepito found the victim around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the report added.
Pepito said he heard at least six gunshots around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, police said.
Three empty shells of .45-caliber firearm were recovered from the crime scene, the police added.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post mortem” examination.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station were investigating the incident./PN
