STEPHEN Brown of Glitterville Studios personally flew in from the United States to the Philippines to decorate the Mexican-themed tree for the family. The decorating guru has worked with legendary television personality Oprah Winfrey for years.
Stephen even dedicated a behind-the-scenes post on his Instagram showing his work on the tree. He captioned it with: “’Tis the season for a tropical tree at the Manila home of @victoria_belo @dochayden nd the most famous baby in the world @scarletsnowbelo.”
The finished tree features cute animal decors and fruit ornaments all made of paper mache.
Cristalle Belo revealed during a media party held to unveil the tree that she invited Stephen to visit them in 2016 after she heard that he and his partner Bryan Crabtree are here in the Philippines to visit their factory in Antipolo City.
They hit it off so much that she introduced him to her mom who, as fate would have it, was looking for a good designer to do a special tree for daughter Scarlet Snow Belo at that time.
Vicki shared with PEP.ph during the Christmas tree reveal: “Scarlet was only nine months and so, of course, there’s a baby in the house, I felt like, ‘Hey guys, can you do our tree?’ Para we can enjoy this whole childhood thing again with Scarlet.”
This is the fourth year that Stephen has done Belo’s Christmas tree. In 2016, he did a Candyland and nutcracker theme for the family and an “under the sea” inspired design in 2017. Last year’s theme, on the other hand, is a unicorn-inspired pastel wonderland. (Cosmo)
