SMOOTHEN your wrinkled pants and unfold your sleeves, it is time to take a break from the long hours of crunching numbers and enjoy a night prepared by Nissan for the diligent employees of its partner banks.

After a long day at work, you were informed of an occasion at Nissan’s place on the eve of Nov. 27. There you met some of Iloilo’s hard-working bankers. The room where the event was held looked like a giant glass box with enough space for everyone, including the massive staff of Nissan. And as you scanned the place, you saw the familiar face of Mr. Ceazar Anthony Ang, chief operating officer of Nissan Iloilo, welcoming every guest in the room with a chat or a warm handshake.
The treats were endless. You were just chewing a bite off your mango crepe when your name was called, everyone was cheering for you, because you won a raffle prize. It was a defining moment since you have never won raffle prizes before.

While you marveled at your prize up close and wondered what sort of luck followed you here, Mr. Ang came up to you and asked, “Sir, test drive?”

Everyone was encouraged to test the quality of Nissan’s automobiles. How can you resist? The roads are clearer at night and bankers always opt for high luxury standards for vehicles, something Nissan Iloilo have always strived to maintain in their cars.
The party was capped by the awarding of certificates to the top five banks, and they deserved it. You know the thrill when one’s hard work has been recognized.

“I’d like to thank you all for joining us in our very first bankers’ night. I hope you all had a great time and enjoyed the food…Hopefully we can have another one next year,” Mr. Ang said. And while you sat at one of the tables, listening to thunderous claps from your co-bankers, you knew everyone was looking forward to next year’s bankers’ night.
